Howard School District

Howard School District is looking for a .2 (one day a week) special education director to provide guidance and assistance to special and regular education teachers.  The person who fills the position would attend and participate in CSE meetings, provide feedback to staff on questions and concerns, recommend staffing levels as related to classroom and para professional positions, serve as Title Coordinator for the district, completing and updating all title documents, serve as Title IX coordinator for the district, gathering student special education counts for the annual DOE requirement and complete other assigned tasks as assigned by the superintendent. The successful candidate will need state administrator certification.
